i, ------------------------------------, PROMISE to educate myself about the toxic effects of products I use and PLEDGE not to poison to the best of my ability. Further, I will educate others by setting a good example and sharing my knowledge regarding poison prevention so that all living creatures will benefit. Therefore, I promise to:

· Read labels so I will be aware of what I am eating, drinking and breathing;

· Educate myself before I use chemicals which may be harmful to health;

· Use safer substitutes for toxic chemicals used in lawn care, gardening, household, cleaning and personal care products;

· Cut my motor whenever possible because fumes can kill and cause health disabilities;

· Ventilate whenever possible to diminish toxic fumes indoors;

· Use sense, not scents.
